Too Many Pedophiles In My Government

I assumed there were a lot, but my goodness

Too Many Pedophiles In My Government
Content warning: This post discusses the Epstein fiasco, including mentions of extreme child abuse

About 3,000,000 more files from the Epstein Files have been released by the Department of Justice, well beyond the deadline set by congress which required the DOJ to release the mostly-unredacted files in full.

What am I holding here in my hand? Oh, well it certainly is not the full unredacted files. But it's something. Also I'm not holding anything in my hand—I'm typing. That would be hard.

What's in the Docs?

A lot. Like, a lot a lot. Email records, investigation reports, collected tip line information, photos, itineraries, Xbox Live ban notifications, Windows XP activation keys, and a whole lot of fully redacted documents.

Let's get something straight first though: something being in the released files does not mean it has been proven true by ay means at all. A lot of the more attention-grabbing screenshots flying around are either fake or being interpreted as a statement of fact rather than a record of everything ever said by anyone related to the case. That doesn't mean it's all fake or shouldn't be taken seriously, just that there's three million documents with basically no additional context.

For example, there's some seriously difficult-to-read allegations about Epstein, Trump, and their ilk raping and murdering children, burying their bodies on their property, and threatening other girls with the same. Based on everything we've seen so far, I would fully accept that to be real. But I am reminding myself: anyone could call and say anything and it would've been written down in these files.

I could have called the FBI and been like, "yo my FBOIS, daddy Trumpo has four penises, each one smaller than the last," and that would then be written into these formal government documents.

I shoulda done that.

Point is stay frosty. There's plenty of actually really horrid shit among these files. There's also a lot of noise that risks undermining the work folks are doing to actually comb through the files for investigative reporting.

Who's in the Docs?

A lot. Like, a lot a lot. Some of the names are the same we've seen before, but then we've got a lot more new folks, too. There's a-plenty of creepy fucking dudes who are in the files in non-insignificant ways, including photos of them with underage girls at Epstein's Island, which is curious considering how many of them were like, "Epstein? The financier?"

  • Donald Trump of course appears quite a lot in the files. Thousands of mentions by name, and of course the very public history of him an Epstein's relationship. Allegations in the new documents about Trump range from rape to murder of children
  • Bill Clinton is another recurring character in the files, but that should be of surprise to exactly nobody. (Side note: I truly don't understand how anyone could still think "the left" cares at all about Bill Clinton)
  • Bill Gates appears quite a lot in this new dump, having already put out a statement saying it's "absurd and completely false." Gates maintains his only relationship with Epstein was that of raising money. I often try to raise money, too, though not from decorated international child sex traffickers.
  • (Former) Prince Andrew sees his reputation slide even further as more pictures of him positioning himself over underage girls on Epstein's Island beg the question, "why is this dude still breathing with his lungs?"
  • Steve Tisch who co-owns the New York Giants has quite a bit of correspondence with ya boy Jeff, discussing women to meet up with brokered by Epstein
  • Kevin Warsh, Trump's pick to replace the chair of the federal reserve appeared in the file dump right after his nomination was announced, which is pretty unfortunate timing, but makes sense since he's a Trump pick and so far the criteria there seems to be "people who hate minorities or diddle kids the most"

Elon Musk is the last of the new names I'll list here. Musk famously tweeted out that Trump was in the Epstein Files during their little lovers spat last year, implying that's why the files haven't been released. Musk went on to defend his prior engagements with Ghislane Maxwell and Epstein himself by claiming that Epstein invited him to parties, but that he turned them down.

Of course that was the polar opposite of what seems to have happened, which was Musk asking Epstein for an invite.

Do you have any parties planned? I've been working to the edge of sanity this year and so, once my kids head home after Christmas, I really want to hit the party scene in St Barts or elsewhere and let loose. The invitation is much appreciated, but a peaceful island experience is the opposite of what I'm looking for
—Elon Musk
Understood , I will see you on st Barth, the ratio on my island might make [your wife] uncomfortable
—Jeffrey Epstein
Ratio is not a problem for [her]
—Elon Musk

Ultimately there's not confirmation of Musk heading to the island, though there's far more email correspondence than previously believed. Musk is now (rightfully) facing scrutiny, especially given how loud he's been about anyone associated with Epstein. Doth protest, etc.

At this point, Musk is angling for the "it's a distraction" angle, requesting that people simply stop asking why he was corresponding with a known child predator.
